I love fish! biggrin

My friends for Christmas one yeart got me this mini fish tank with 3 of the cutest lil fish ever...I loved it, one of the best prezzies I could ever ask for.

I used to go to the Vancouver Aquarium when was really lil and my grandparents used to have to prepare themselves for staying there for like 6 hours...I've always loved lil fishies biggrin

all this reminded me of my dear departed betta fish Rumble. he died. he's now buried in a film box in my back yard. the traditional burial at sea thing seemed so impersonal...

then there were my 4 goldfishies... named after the beatles. none of them died while in my possession... though i assume since i gave them away some 12 years ago that they've ultimately met with their deaths...

*sobs more* i want new fish... my cats are boring... they just watch tv... and sleep... and kill men... frown

Thanks for your input everyone.. I really can't wait to get it set up and going, nervous bout them all making it.. but it will be fun for all of us I think. Will have to let you know what we end up with.

Whoo hooo MzC has keep her new cute little fish now for 3 whole weeks and it is still alive...........But it looks likes MzC has killed the snail that we got for the tank

Didn't kill the snail...it layed eggs all over the tank then died all by it self.... frown

When I was a kid we had 3 gold fish. And one a day for 3 days would jump out of the tank and die on the table. Why'd my lil fishies commit suicide?

Now we have a beautiful blue Beta fighting fish. He's lived for most of the year so far. My daughter named him Bubbles.

i used to have an aquarium with a largemouth bass in it - Bob Bass -
we would watch Jacques Cousteau all the time together.
we used to have tug of war with nightcrawlers.
Bob would eat 10 goldfish in one sitting and the aquarium looked like a snow globe with all the goldfish scales floating around after that.

I too got two gold fish and quite a large tank for Xmas. My two fish are Lionhead Goldfish and are way too gorgeous to even take your eyes off them a minute! Peaceful...
This is what lionheads look like:
